The beta drivers I found searching around; I'm not entirely sure where I found them. I can hardly believe they'd rip out the built in drivers for such a popular audio chip. I must agree sq250 5 reason, but too bad, despite its very good audio quality, my MX sounds not so loud.
Vista supports using XP sound drivers. Thanks alot for the driversthey work well on xp sp2 and on vista 32bits but I'm having some problems on Win7 sound is kinda chunkyseems if I disable Hardware 2568.00 it works better. That's why some newer games can't get A3D support.

They aren't, however i recently found some MS drivers for Aureal Vortex 1,2 and 3. I'm really curious as to how you knew what to change to make it work with Vista and now Windows 7 It's totally great, whether I have Equalizer control or not. Keep up the great work mate! So I must rely on speaker's auu8830 a lot; so it will be little noisy with average quality speaker. The URL is fine -- I just tested sureal. If you have a bit system, I'm sorry -- there never were bit drivers for this card, and I can't help you get them.
I'm aau8830 the drivers aren't compatible? Sadly, no, because bit Vista requires drivers that have been re-compiled from source code to accommodate bit addressing. I haven't tested this as of yet, but I will 5.12 do so when I find my MX This site hosts no abandonware.
Sadly, Aureal went bankrupt in and was later bought by Creative, so Aureal chipsets have had pretty poor support since XP -- the stock Vortex2 driver included in Windows XP was a bare bones implementation at best.

Will those drivers work in bit Vista? There is a website somewhere on the net, which attempted to modify Aurel drivers for XP to work with hardware acceleration. I'm glad I have sound, even if I can't seem to find a way to make the Equalizer work.
I've been seeing some strange issues that appear to be related to this driver.
I have to say thank you. Then I checked the Action Center and it said there was a compatibility issue. It's really cool to be able to use the card again.
